GAS SENSE RUUMIKESKNE GAASILEKKE DETEKTOR - CO
Domestic gas detector H-220-CO is designed to monitor the level of carbon monoxide and signal light and sound at excess levels.
Carbon monoxide is a highly toxic gas, causing heavy damage even when inhaled in very small quantities. It is colorless and odorless, making it undetectable by human senses. Carbon monoxide is released during incomplete combustion of substances. Common sources of CO are smoke, heaters, fossil fuel furnaces and car exhaust.
Domestic gas detectors H-220-CO has been designed to simulate the behavior of the human body by inhalation of carbon monoxide. During normal operation, it measures the concentration of CO per second. When the gas concentration exceeds 40 ppm began reporting on the response time of the device. The reaction time varies depending on the concentration of CO - the higher concentration the faster turns the light and sound signals.
The response time is according to EN 50291
LED: green LED - normal operation, red - alarm, yellow - failure. The first time the sensor prepares 30s. Device gives a double beep sound and lights green LED /normal operation/. Domestic gas detector H-220-CO has a TEST mode, which can be checked saws without the alarm and function - self-diagnosis to check the status of the sensor.
Carbon monoxide is a gas that is released during incomplete combustion of substances. Sources of CO can be wood, coal, diesel, paraffin, petroleum products, cigarettes, etc..
In order to guarantee correct operation of domestic gas detectors H-220-CO must comply with the following conditions:
Detector is mounted on the wall at a height of at least 1.50m above the floor /carbon monoxide has nearly the same density as warm air/ and a distance of at least 1.85m from the corresponding device.
Avoid installation in places where the device is right next to the flow of smoke and fumes containing compounds which may compromise the performance of the sensor. Do not use near the gas detector silicone compounds /as spray/ lubricants, polishing materials, adhesives, paints and cleaners. As well as diluents and solvents such as isopropyl alcohol, ethylene, acetylene and others.
Clean with a damp cloth or vacuum cleaner.
